PUBLICATIONS Spirit of Math has developed a range of workbooks that help students strengthen their understanding and skills. Books can be used in a classroom, home enrichment (“after-school”) or homeschool environment. Teacher booklets and solution manuals are also available. There is also an iPad app for drills which is available in the app store. Drills The Spirit of Math Drills system helps students in grades 1 to 8 gain fluency and speed working with numbers. There are workbooks for students and teacher solutions manuals. Problem Solving The Spirit of Math “Math Problem of the Day” (mPOD) workbooks offer a variety of types of problems for students to solve. Solution books with in-depth explanations are also available. Drills include access to video instructions that show educators, homeschool teachers or parents how to run the drills. Each workbook contains an entire year’s worth of drills to help students gain speed and fluency in numeracy in ten minutes or less per day. Short, timed drills and progress graphs allow students to track their progress, see their improvements, and develop a love and excitement for math. The App generates an unlimited number of drills, making it suitable for continued practice until proficiency is developed.
