Level 7 drill books contain the following types of drills:
- Short Multiplication (3-digits by 1-digit)
- Short Division (3-digits by 1-digit)
- Long Multiplication (a variety of digits, with and without decimals)
- Long Division (a variety of digits, with and without decimals)
- Perfect Squares (up to 602)
- Decimal Expansion (up to twelfths)
The Level 7 drills continue to build upon drills from previous levels and introduce new drills to help students develop different ideas for working with numbers. Perfect Squares are introduced to strengthen students’ understanding of patterns and working with larger numbers. Decimal Expansion drills allow students to practice converting fractions to decimal equivalents, which develops understanding of rational numbers, terminating decimals, periodic decimals, and percentages. Rational Addition drills provide practice in developing proficiency with adding rational numbers of different denominators. Suitable for Grades 7-9.
